Carol Anderson, "One Person, No Vote: How Voter Suppression is Destroying Our Democracy"
Carol Anderson, a professor of African American Studies at Emory University and the author of “White Rage” and “One Person, No Vote,” will be the keynote speaker on April 8 in a free Zoom webinar.
A panel discussion on the “Legacies of the 19th Amendment: The Struggle Still Continues” will follow. The panel features:

The event is hosted by RIT's special program Moving Forward: Suffrage, Past, Present and Future. Moving Forward focuses on the history of women’s voting activism; the problems and questions that the 1920 expansion of voting rights opened and left unsolved; and the work that remains to be done to continue expanding political representation and participation for all women.
