Cinema Sabaya
Join the Division of Diversity and Inclusion for a film screening of Cinema Sabaya. The film focuses on a group of Arab and Jewish women who participate in a workshop that teaches about documentary filmmaking. As each person shares footage from their home life with the others, their beliefs and preconceptions are challenged and barriers are broken down. The group comes together as mothers, daughters, wives, and women living in a world designed to keep them apart.
This film is a part of Women's History Month programming on campus. Pizza will be provided. Space is limited.
