Roar the Vote: Naturalization Ceremony

For those wishing to become citizens of the United States, the journey can be lengthy, challenging, rewarding, and so much more. The naturalization ceremony is the culmination of the naturalization process where someone takes a public oath to become a U.S. citizen. These ceremonies are an incredible opportunity to witness the swearing-in of some of our newest citizens from around the world, celebrating and commemorating their individual and collective journeys to this place.

We will go as a group to witness a naturalization ceremony at the United States District Court for the Western District of New York in Rochester. A van will leave the Sentinel Statue promptly at 11:15 a.m.

Please note that the courtroom does NOT allow cell phones, laptops, tablets, food, or beverages inside. Please prepare accordingly. If you plan to drive yourself, please email Myren Bobryk-Ozaki at mibrli@rit.edu in advance.
