An executive director who leads a marketing team that supports RIT Housing and RIT Dining and a Marine Corps veteran who is receiving his mechanical engineering technology degree next month have been chosen to receive prestigious public service awards from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Once again, Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology has been recognized for several of its programs by College Factual in its annual rankings:

College of Art and Design students were out in force documenting the rare total solar eclipse seen in Rochester, N.Y., and other parts of the country.

Life experience and lessons from all of his mentors, many of whom were past recipients of the Eisenhart Award, made Salvaggio a teacher worthy of the accolade.

Driven by creativity, compelled by a passion for robotics, and drawing from his background in engineering, fifth-year mechanical engineering student Mike Elrod created his electric skateboard using a 3D printer when he found himself without transportation during his co-op.
