Deadlines Approaching to Get Vaccinated Under Mandatory Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Policy; All Employees Must Provide Proof of Vaccination

UPDATE Nov. 9: Employee COVID-19 Vaccination Deadline Extended

Important deadlines are approaching related to RIT’s Employee Mandatory COVID-19 Policy.

Please be aware that if you receive a two-dose regimen of a Pfizer vaccine, you will need to receive the first dose on or before Wednesday, November 3. The single Johnson & Johnson dose can be received on or before Wednesday, November 24. This is necessary to allow the two-week time period required to achieve full vaccination by December 8. Time to get the Moderna vaccine to meet the deadline has expired.

Free vaccines are widely available in the Finger Lakes region.  Additional information is available on the Employee Expectations page on the RIT Ready website.

Furthermore, all employees are required to provide approved documentation as proof of vaccination no later than Wednesday, December 8. Thank you to those who have uploaded your proof of vaccination into Oracle Employee Self-Serve. To help those who have not yet done so, please see the User Guide that includes screenshots and detailed instructions for employees and supervisors. Supervisors will need to review the information and sign off in Oracle no later than December 8.

For more information about RIT’s employee COVID-19 vaccination mandate, please refer to the RIT Ready website. For technical assistance in using Oracle Employee Self-Serve, please contact the RIT Service Center 585-475-5000 or https://help.rit.edu/sp.

Vaccination is the most effective tool we have to end the global pandemic.
