RIT appoints three alumni to Board of Trustees

Rochester Institute of Technology has appointed three new members to its Board of Trustees, adding to its roster of leaders experienced in technology, business, accessibility, and engineering.

Chris Estrin

Chris Estrin ’94 (social work), chief experience officer for ZP Better Together, has built a career focused on advancing accessibility and communication services for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. A graduate of RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Estrin has remained engaged with the university for more than three decades.

Since joining ZP Better Together and its predecessor ZVRS in 2007, Estrin has led marketing, customer experience, and service delivery initiatives while helping to create employment opportunities for more than 100 NTID students and graduates. His leadership also helped launch NTID's Next Big Idea, the college’s entrepreneurship competition.

Estrin has served on the NTID Foundation Board since 2009, is a member of the university’s Sentinel Society, and has been recognized for his volunteer leadership, including co-chairing NTID’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. In recognition of his service, he received the university’s Volunteer of the Year Award in 2019 and was named NTID’s Distinguished Alumnus in 2009. He and his family also established the Plough-Estrin Memorial Endowed Scholarship to support future generations of deaf students.

Beyond RIT, Estrin serves as chair of Bridges Oregon and vice president of the National Association of the Deaf.

Bradley J. Fluke

Bradley J. Fluke ’84 (electrical engineering) spent more than 35 years in the semiconductor industry. His leadership experience includes key roles with Analog Devices, Silicon Laboratories, Javelin Semiconductor, and Cirrus Logic, where he most recently served as general manager before retiring in 2020.

At RIT, Fluke has served on the President’s Roundtable, the Kate Gleason College of Engineering National Council, and college advisory boards. His philanthropic support includes a transformational gift that helped renovate part of Gleason Hall, resulting in the creation of the Bradley J. Fluke ’84 Concourse in 2025. He also received the Kate Gleason College of Engineering Distinguished Alumni Award in 2012.

In addition to his support of RIT, Fluke has contributed his expertise to nonprofit organizations in the Austin, Texas community, serving on advisory and governing boards focused on education and youth services.

Amy Zhen

Amy Zhen ’10 (applied science and technology), executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield, has significant experience in commercial real estate and strategic business development, establishing herself as a leader in New York City's office and retail leasing market.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Zhen served as an executive vice president at JLL, where she became one of the firm’s top national revenue generators.

At RIT, Zhen is a member of the President’s Roundtable and is a founding member of the Sentinel Society.

She also serves on the Metro New York City Regional Council and supports several nonprofit organizations, including Shoe4Africa and the National Dance Institute.
