RIT community invited to State of the University address on Sept. 10
President Bill Sanders will outline priorities

RIT President Bill Sanders welcomed first-year students during Fall Convocation for New Students in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center.
RIT President Bill Sanders will give his State of the University address at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, in the RIT Performing Arts Center.
During his address, Sanders will review the past year’s accomplishments and preview university leadership’s agenda and vision for the coming year. He will provide updates on enrollment, faculty and staff highlights, and student achievements.
“After my first year at RIT, I have great confidence in our future,” Sanders said in his welcome back message on Aug. 26. “I see it in our students, faculty, and staff and in the outcomes of their work.”
In addition to Sanders, campus leaders from the Division of Access, Engagement, and Success, Faculty Senate, Staff Council, and Student Government will speak.
While the event will be livestreamed on the Office of the President webpage for viewers at RIT’s global campuses and remote locations, students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend in person.
A reception will immediately follow in the foyer.
