In March, IEO, Scot Atkins (Business Studies) and Asian Deaf Club hosted a delegation from National Tsukuba Corporation University of Technology (NTUT) in Japan. 

Thomastine Sarchet (PI) received funding for the fifth year of the DeafGROW Project. The goal of the project is to break down barriers and unlock opportunities to employment for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals worldwide.

Thomastine’s research on deaf employment was featured in a recent article in RIT News and Events.
