International print technology company donates color management software to RIT
GMG Color recently donated one of its high-end color management software systems, ColorProof, to RIT. The system will be used as part of classroom instruction and research projects based in RIT’s Department of Graphic Media Sciences and Technology to better evaluate color quality prior to print production.

Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and its Women’s Council have named three RIT community members as finalists for the 2022 ATHENA International Young Professional Award, which recognizes emerging female leaders in the 30- to 45-year-old range who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession and serve as a role model for young women.

For Metaproject 11, senior industrial design students will spend the semester designing products for Staach, which focuses on functional sustainable design. Founded by Seth Eshelman '06 (industrial design/graphic design), the company designs and domestically manufactures sustainable products including furniture, interiors, and built structures.
