A highlight of Graphic Design student Alex Gerstner's internship with Genesee Brewing was designing the label for a popular limited-release beer that sold out in minutes.

Andrew Searns, a computer science BS/MS student, has received an Honorable Mention for the Computing Research Association's 2020 Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers Award, which recognizes top undergraduate research students across North America.

Print media graduate student Emily Shriver headed a project to assess how individuals recognize manipulated images used in news. She found that most people are skeptical about images seen in print or online news, but only half can tell which images actually are altered.
