RIT is engaged in a number of efforts to protect the campus community from the spread of COVID-19, including a partnership with Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard to conduct general surveillance of COVID-19 infections among RIT students.
The university is also engaging the community in a Stopping the Spread campaign, focused on the 3Ws – Wash your hands. Wear your mask. Watch Your Distance – as well as other ways to get and stay prepared.
More than 20 outdoor fitness pods have been set up inside tents at the RIT Track and Game Field and are available by reservation for RIT students, faculty, and staff beginning today. A variety of cardio, resistance, and weight lifting equipment, which will be cleaned regularly, allows users a safe space to get some much-needed exercise.
RIT/NTID Audiology Center opens with increased safety measures
The center, part of the Communications Studies and Services Department, serves both RIT and NTID students as well as employees and members of the community, primarily retirees and OSHER members. It provides both allied healthcare services and educational support.
