With fall semester well underway, planning now turns to the spring semester. The Academic Planning Core Committee, comprised primarily of students, and faculty and staff from Academic Affairs, along with a subgroup of members outside of Academic Affairs, will meet weekly to work through such issues as setting a spring calendar and the potential impact of the flu season.
Despite restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, students are still finding ways to participate in hundreds of clubs and organizations this semester, from dancing, designing games, and even skydiving.
Call to Compassion: A Service for All We Have Lost to COVID-19 is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the outdoor stage on Throws Field northeast of Gordon Field House. The service aims to acknowledge both the collective and individual losses our students and community have experienced, and provide inspiration for how we might respond to support one another. Masks are required and physical distancing will be in place.
