On-campus galleries normally lined with exhibits have been transformed into classrooms, with desks and technology necessary to meet the academic needs of hundreds of first-year College of Art and Design students.
Recruitment for the RIT Ready Crew is in full swing! This team of 20 students will energize their peers with fun, engaging, and educational methods to promote positive, COVID-19 compliant behaviors. Imagine everything from pool noodle hats to remind students of physical distancing requirements to conversational signs that compliment students on their nice mask. If you know of any students who may be interested in this paid opportunity, please have them apply for the RIT Ready Crew Member position on Career Connect (ID: 11811) or send their name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Holding each other accountable
Community accountability has become a cornerstone of navigating the pandemic successfully. To help, RIT has an online COVID Violation Reporting Form to afford students, faculty and staff and students the opportunity to officially log concerns in situations where they feel RIT community members aren’t adhering to the protocols in the RIT Ready Plan designed to limit the spread of COVID-19.
