Students are bringing mural art into the spotlight through TunnelVision, an immersive project designed to engage and inspire. The initiative transforms the residence hall tunnels into a vibrant gallery, showcasing student-created murals. It aims to foster community and spark conversations about public art on campus.

Susan Puglia has been elected the 22nd chairperson of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees and, as she takes the helm, will be overseeing two major university initiatives.

What a hoot! RIT students and faculty harnessed the power of technology, the arts, and design to create a giant owl structure out of 1,500 pounds of canned food, all of which will be donated.

Women, Enterprise, Craft: Chicago’s Atlan Ceramic Art Club, 1893–1923, written by Sharon S. Darling, revisits the Atlan Ceramic Art Club, one of the leading studios of hand-painted china, or “china painting,” in the Midwest. The publication is part of the RIT Press Arts and Crafts Movement Series.

James Perkins, a distinguished faculty member at RIT, has been awarded the Brödel Award for Excellence in Education by the Association of Medical Illustrators, recognizing his outstanding contributions to medical illustration education.

The two-week trip was the culmination of the Japanese Game Industry course, where students learned about the world’s third largest video game market. RIT students immersed themselves in the culture, participated in a game jam with Japanese students, and visited a major Japanese game studio.
