RIT again boasts some of the top programs in the world to study game design, according to the latest international rankings from The Princeton Review. RIT’s game design and development program was ranked eighth at the undergraduate level and seventh at the graduate level on the 2019 list.

RIT graduate programs are among the best in the nation, according to the U.S. News annual statistical survey of graduate programs published today. RIT master’s degree programs in engineering, business and physician assistant feature in the U.S. News & World Report 2020 edition of Best Graduate Schools.

RIT is now listed as a “high research activity institution” or “R2” under the updated Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Learning.

The 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings, released today, featured RIT on its lists for business, computing, engineering and undergraduate online education.

The MBA program at RIT has been ranked 54th among business colleges and universities around the world by the Times Higher Education/The Wall Street Journal.

A new list by Business Insider places RIT among some of the nation’s most well-respected universities. Rochester Institute of Technology ranked 19th on the publication’s list of “The 50 most underrated colleges in America.”

Saunders College of Business is ranked eighth in Princeton Review’s “Top 25 Online MBA Programs for 2019.” Saunders College has earned Top 10 placements the past four years since the inception of the Princeton Review’s comprehensive rankings of online MBA program in 2015.

RIT, for the eighth consecutive year, has been named one of the greenest universities by The Princeton Review—while also placing on the new “Top 50 Green Colleges” ranking list.

For the second year in a row, RIT is being honored as an institution committed to diversity for 2018 by Minority Access, Incorporated. RIT is also receiving a Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT into Diversity magazine for the fifth consecutive year.

RIT is among the top third “National Universities” and the top 50 choices of high school guidance counselors, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings.

RIT is considered one of the nation’s best universities for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education-services company features RIT in the just-published 2019 edition of its annual book, The Best 384 Colleges.

RIT’s School of Film and Animation is once again ranked among the top animation schools in the country by Animation Career Review, a leading online resource of information for aspiring animation and game design professionals.
