Experience an array of technology, equipment and demos, as well as presentations by world-renowned photographers and storytellers, during Film+FotoFest@RIT'26!

The annual two-day showcase celebrates the art of photography and cinematography, set to take place 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sept. 16-17, 2026, in RIT’s state-of-the-art MAGIC Spell Studios. The event, open to the RIT community and general public, provides an opportunity to browse and try the latest camera technologies from industry-leading brands and companies.

Programming includes:

  • Trade show — a curated exhibition space to showcase products and services
  • Featured presentations — photography and film experts will lead insightful sessions
  • Studio demos — vendors have the opportunity to offer hands-on experiences for attendees
  • Networking — this is a space for photographers, filmmakers and industry professional to connect

Registration is FREE. Stay tuned for a registration form, coming soon. 

RIT students in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences and School of Film and Animation who attend are also eligible to win incredible photography gear. More details are coming soon.
