Forbes has identified a few of the RIT alumni set to define the next decade—and beyond. Two RIT alumni—and a third just a few months shy of the age cut-off—were named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2022. Jackie Wiley ’16 (game design and development) was honored in the Games category, and Dylan Ayrey ’15 (computer engineering) was named in the Enterprise Technology category.

Assistant professor Amy Adrion—whose work has screened at South by Southwest, Sundance, and Tribeca film festival—recently directed and produced videos for an online streaming series featuring actors reading children’s books brought to life through animation.

Veterans Outreach Center honored Rochester Institute of Technology, Foodlink, and the CHS Mobile Integrated Health teams this week with its annual Service Provider Awards. The ceremony, held at the local center, recognized the groups’ contributions in the areas of employment, food and living resources, and medical services for area veterans.

Rochester-area public school students will create social change using video games at the AT&T & RIT ROCtheChange Game Jam held Jan. 15—the first free youth game jam in the region.

Doug Templeton ’19 (M.Arch.), a licensed architect in New York State, joined Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)’s department of architecture as an adjunct faculty member in fall of 2020.

The REMADE Institute (REMADE) selected four projects for award that were proposed by GIS researchers, a funding award totaling $3.5 million. Research will see GIS developing circular economy solutions in partnership with the companies Autodesk, BigBattery, BorgWarner, Caterpillar, and Nike, among others.
