Supporting Eye Health With Innovative Imaging

Since graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology’s photographic sciences program, Leah Kazakevich ‘19 has had a successful career as a medical photographer. She began as an ophthalmic photographer and then transitioned to her current role as an imaging specialist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Kazakevich performs diagnostic testing and imaging to assist doctors in monitoring eye health. She also supports research pursuits at the hospital, notably studying novel camera technology that is hoped to help correct vision loss in children.
