Learning in the SHED - A Student Perspective

This session explores the student experience in RIT’s active-learning classrooms, with attention to what helps students feel engaged, supported, and successful. We will consider how room setup, instructor choices, group dynamics, and classroom expectations shape learning from the student point of view. Active Learning with Panopto: Designing Effective Video Assignments

AI Essentials for Educators
RegisterJoin us for AI Essentials for Educators, a 5-week online course for faculty focused on practical strategies for integrating AI into teaching. This course includes 2 synchronous sessions (one in-person kick off session and a virtual wrap up session), and 4 online modules to be completed independently.
Synchronous session dates are:
- In-Person Kick Off: Wednesday, September 9 from 12:00-12:50 pm
- Virtual Mid-Point Session (Optional): Tuesday, September 22 from 1:30-2:30 pm
- Virtual Wrap Up: Wednesday, October 7 from 12:00-12:50 pm
Registering for this first session automatically enrolls you in the course and the final wrap-up session. If you cannot attend the synchronous sessions due to a scheduling conflict, feel free to sign up anyway. We will provide supplemental, virtual materials.
