    Student Spotlight: Park design chosen for KaBOOM! grant

    Meet Madison Miller, Jim Chen and Stefani Schultz, third-year interior design students who designed a play area for the Sojourner Home at Wilson Commencement Park in Rochester. The project received a $63,000 grant to make the students’ design a reality.

    Tigers set records at United Way Golf Tournament

    The annual RIT United Way Golf Tournament raised a record $12,000 for the Greater Rochester United Way Community Fund. The event also featured the most teams (40) and sponsors (18) in the tournament’s history.

    RIT research aims to cut Rochester gun violence

    With a grant from the New York State Health Foundation, RIT’s Center for Public Safety Initiatives will form a program to determine whether a victim of street crime was involved in a dispute, and whether that dispute could escalate with gun violence.

    Impressionist painter Claude Monet created more than 40 versions of London’s Waterloo Bridge. His artistic vision and creative process are put under the microscope in a new scholarly catalogue by RIT Press that serves as a companion to a new exhibition at Rochester’s Memorial Art Gallery.
