    RIT ranked a ‘Best Value College for 2020’

    RIT has been named among “Best Value Colleges for 2020” by The Princeton Review. The project analyzes 40 data points for more than 650 of the nation’s 4,000 colleges and universities. Only 200 made the final list.

    The Rochester Beacon reports that RIT ranks No. 1 in the Rochester area in  “A First Try at ROI: Ranking 4,500 Colleges," a  new report from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce.

    Saunders College of Business cited in ‘Bloomberg Businessweek’ rankings

    Saunders College of Business’ MBA program has been noted for being among the best full-time programs in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2019 rankings. Saunders College ranked No. 93 overall, with an entrepreneurship rating of No. 67, in the annual MBA rankings of graduate business schools. The college also ranked No. 80 in learning, and No. 90 in networking.

    RIT receives multiple accolades for promoting diversity and inclusion

    RIT received the 2019 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education, for the sixth year in a row. Also, for the third consecutive year, RIT is being honored as an institution committed to diversity for 2019 by Minority Access Inc. And Professor André Hudson, pictured above, is among the individuals Minority Access will celebrate at the National Role Models Conference this year.

    RIT among the top universities in the nation

    RIT is among the top third “National Universities,” earning praise for its co-operative education program and its graduation rate for students from low-income families, as well as its business and engineering colleges, according to the 2020 edition of U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges.

    The Princeton Review features RIT in the just-published 2020 edition of its annual book The Best 385 Colleges, giving RIT high marks for diversity and campus life in addition to having rigorous academics and helpful professors.

    RIT named one of nation’s best midsize employers

    RIT has been recognized by Forbes on its 2019 list of “America's Best Midsize Employers.” RIT earned 66th place overall on the list of 500 companies and is the fourth-highest ranked university of the 35 universities listed.
