Management Professor’s Work in Circular Economy Leads to a New Center
Clyde Eiríkur Hull, professor of management, is an internationally recognized expert in and proponent of circular economy, an approach where no waste goes into a landfill because everything left over is reused by a business or sold to someone else. Hull’s work led to the development of the newly formed Competitive Sustainability Center, which will help businesses, non-profits, and government agencies find and pursue competitive sustainability opportunities.

A new research study, “Detecting Fake Review Buyers Using Network Structure: Direct Evidence from Amazon,” co-authored Ali Tosyali and Gijs Overgoor, assistant professors in the department of MIS, marketing, and analytics, helps consumers avoid being duped.
