    RIT community gathers to break ground on Tiger Stadium

    RIT breaks ground on Tiger Stadium, a $30 million project set to redefine the university's athletics landscape. Scheduled for completion in fall 2025, the stadium serves as a new home to the soccer and lacrosse teams and will elevate attendee and student-athlete experiences.

    RIT Global students set to present at Imagine RIT

    Students from RIT’s global campuses will be making the trek to the U.S. for this year’s Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival. Teams from all of RIT's global campuses will be presenting their exhibits in the Gordon Field House; this is the second year that students from global campuses will be attending the festival in person.

    Six-hour RIT Unlabeled Music Festival takes over the SHED on April 20

    RIT's second annual Unlabeled Music Festival, part of SpringFest 2024, will showcase over 40 student acts across four stages in the innovative SHED building on April 20. From rock bands to a cappella and electronic music, the festival highlights the growing interest and talent in performing arts at RIT.

    Pranjal Sawai, center, an MFA student in visual communication design, won first place for her visual exhibit at the RIT Graduate Showcase on April 11. Her work is a reinterpretation of Panchatantra, or Indian animal fables. Sawai was inspired by traditional Indian shadow puppetry and western typography. She learned about typography while studying under RIT Assistant Professor Anne Jordan.
