NTID is partnering with Rochester Museum & Science Center for Deaf Night on April 12 at RMSC. The event will provide an accessible and friendly experience for deaf and hard-of-hearing people in the community.

Students in the marketing and supply chain management programs learn foundational business skills along with discipline-specific knowledge and the latest market trends so they can become change agents and expert decision-makers in their fields.

An interdisciplinary pair of RIT students is headed to Bethesda, Md., to participate in the 2023 Lockheed Martin Ethics in Engineering Case Competition. Emma Nastro, a third-year museum studies student, and Lee Sortore, a fifth-year mechanical engineering student, will represent RIT at the competition, which is held Feb. 27 through March 1 at the Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence. This is the first time an RIT team has competed in this competition.

NTID and The Strong National Museum of Play have again partnered to celebrate the richness of Rochester’s Deaf community with a Deaf Day of Play at the museum from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.

When RIT students Julia LaMarra and Celina Alvarado heard about a trip to work on repairing hospital equipment in Guatemala during this past winter break, they jumped at the chance.

Programs with RIT’s international campuses are helping to make well-rounded students. RIT student Jake Downie has been “all in” for the past few years when working to advance JDocs, a startup he created with fellow computer science student Artem Goncharov. And now, a JDocs product, FlexFile, is making waves in the legal industry. Last week, FlexFile became a semifinalist to compete in ABA Techshow’s Startup Alley competition.
