RIT senior scientists Aaron Gerace and Matthew Montanaro were presented with the USGIF Academic Achievement Award at the GEOINT 2019 Symposium for their work on the Landsat 8 satellite.

A sculpture by metals and jewelry design professor Carlos Caballero-Perez was recently installed in Fairport, with the piece representing a "Connection" to the village's history.

The Outstanding Graduate Woman Achievement award was established to raise awareness of graduate students and their accomplishments. This year's award was presented to Mireya Salinas, who earned her MFA this May and spoke at commencement as the College of Art and Design graduate delegate.
