RIT Global

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program funds one year of graduate study, independent research or teaching English in over 160 countries.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided more than 370,000 participants—chosen for their academic merit and leadership potential — with the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to finding solutions to shared international concerns. Over 1,900 U.S. students, artists and early career professionals in more than 100 different fields of study are offered Fulbright Program grants annually.

RIT International Fellowships manages the Fulbright U.S. Student application process, and as a current RIT student you have the benefit of applying through RIT. This means that you would receive individual advising – including coaching, proofreading, and formal review of materials - by RIT’s trained Fulbright Program Advisor. Email Jenny.Sullivan@rit.edu if you are interested in applying for a Fulbright.
